The most popular baby names used in Germany in 2016 have been revealed. The list was compiled by the Society for German Language after identifying the most frequently used first names in Germany.
They based their results on the German registrars of births and found that the most popular girl’s name was Marie, while Elias was the most popular boy’s name.
Usually, there are one or two names on the list that we wouldn’t personally choose but we love every name on these lists.
