Are YOU in trend?

Trine Jensen-Burke

Only one month to go before the year is out.

And if you are due your baby in the next few weeks, you might be interested to know what other parents across the globe named their little bundles in 2017 – just, you know, for research purposes.

According to Mother.ly and Nameberry, the stats have started to trinkle in, and from England and Wales, to Israel and New Zealand, here are some of the absolute most popular baby names of the past 11 months:

1. Oliver and Olivia

Both of these names are still riding high in the charts in the UK.

2. Amelia

Just lost its leading position to Olivia, but we still think it’s a stunner.

3. Lily

A forever classic.

4. Muhammed

This name actually surpassed William as the most popular choice for baby boys.

5. Luna

Steadily climbing the charts, boosted no doubt by little Luna Legend.
