Estée Lauder’s Double Wear is Ireland’s favourite beauty product, and no, you shouldn’t be surprised.

The incredibly popular product has been duped to death over these past few years, and yet, it seems like true fans in Ireland are still desperate to get their hands on a bottle of the real deal.

Double Wear foundation is easy enough to build on for a heavier evening look (remember those?), while also being waterproof, transfer-proof, oil-free and humidity-resistant.

A bottle is sold every few minutes worldwide, so it’s really no surprise that us Irish have named it our favourite beauty product.

According to new study by Lookfantastic, Double Wear is the most searched beauty product by Irish women.

The study analysed Google search volumes of over 30 of the top-selling beauty product types in each country across the globe, revealing the most popular brands and products worldwide.

And while Double Wear came out top here in Ireland, elsewhere it seems beauty addicts are more into their lipsticks.

MAC’s iconic Velvet Teddy was the top beauty product for a staggering 46 countries including the UK and the US. The shade topped the list as the most searched for lipstick shade worldwide, with 266k annual global searches.

Although it’s always been popular, Velvet Teddy garnered a considerable amount of attention after being named as the preferred shade of Kylie Jenner.

The world’s second favourite shade is Mehr (178k), and third is Twig (145k). Nude shades make up most of the top 15 favourite lipstick shades, with only bold colour featured being Russian Red, coming in at a respectable 13th.

Benefit’s ‘They’re Real’ mascara came out for beauty products top in 21 countries, while Anastasia Beverly Hills’ Dipbrow Pomade was the number one product for 20 spots around the globe.
