Holly Willoughby's weird beauty secret

We’re definitely giving this a go.

Holly Willoughby’s stylish looks have given us major fashion inspiration of late and now the TV presenter has divulged one of her go-to beauty secrets.

This comes from none other than Liz Earle, a very familiar name as her Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser has become a cult beauty buy across the world.

It stands to reason that any advice from Liz, only the queen of skincare, is going to be lapped up beauty devotees.

In a recent interview with Red magazine, Holly explained that this tip relates to a ‘milk bath’, an ancient beauty trick that reportedly dates back to Egyptian ruler Cleopatra FYI.

Chatting with the publication, the mother of three described how Liz appeared on This Morning previously and shared the ‘weird trick’.

“She [Liz] made a milk bath for Mother’s Day (she got that old school dried milk powder (like your nan used to bring on holiday to put in your tea) and dried rose petals covered in lots of rose and lavender essential oils, and mixed in with the milk powder. Then you just take a scoop and put it in your bath to make a milky bath – it’s so soft!”.

One of the more surprising beauty tips we’ve gleaned over time but one we’ll keep in mind all the same.

In the same interview, Holly said that sleep is the key to her ‘fresh-faced’ look and she tries to get as much shut-eye as possible with lights out by 9:30 pm on occasion.

We WILL get to bed before 10 pm tonight (please tell us we’re not the only ones who struggle with getting to bed on time).
