The reality star had been criticised for going at her daughter's natural curls.

“Curiosity is always going to be there.”

Rochelle Humes has said she felt sorry for Kim Kardashian over the controversy surrounding her daughter North’s hair.

Kim took flak on social media earlier this year when the five-year-old appeared in public with straightened hair.

Rochelle, who last year stopped straightening her own hair to set an example for her five-year-old daughter Alaia-Mai, said she could see where Kim was coming from.

“I felt a little bit for Kim with that because I remember bugging my mum for the same,” Rochelle told Fabulous.

“Any person who’s either got a daughter or a son with curly hair, or they have curly hair themselves, that is always a question you’re going to ask out of curiosity – what would it look like?

“I felt sorry for her because she probably made her little girl’s day, and she probably loved that.”

Rochelle, who said she decided to embrace her curls after Alaia-Mai said her natural hair meant she didn’t look like a princess, won’t be banning her daughter from having curls when she’s older.

“Obviously, it’s amazing to embrace your natural hair, and that’s what I’m teaching my kids to do and that’s what I want them to do, and they are doing that which is amazing,” she said.

“Curiosity is always going to be there, and it’s important to show people that you can do that – I’ll always prefer my daughter with curly hair but I’m not going to stop her from being curious – I’d be a hypocrite!”
