“You’re putting water on the children?”
BREAKING AND VERY IMPORTANT NEWS: Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have decided to wash their children.
We jest. Sort of.
See, you might remember that a few weeks back, the couple caused a media frenzy by announcing they don’t wash their kids all too often.
“I wasn’t that parent that bathed my newborns. Ever,” Mila had said.
Ashton added, “Here’s the thing: if you can see the dirt on them, clean them. Otherwise, there’s no point.”
Ashton also informed us that he washes his “armpits and crotch daily and nothing else.”
The couple’s comments led to a variety of headlines and social media comments, made worse when Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell followed suit in sharing that they “wait for the stink” before bathing their kids.
Now, Ashton and Mila are poking fun at the parenting debate they caused surrounding the washing of their daughter Wyatt, 6, and son Dimitri, 4.
In a video posted to Ashton’s Instagram account captioned “This bathing thing is out of hand,” the couple can be seen in a bathroom with the sound of a shower running.
“Oh my god, what is that?” Ashton asks to a giggling Mila. “You’re putting water on the children? Are you trying to melt them?!”
He also jokes that this marks their fourth shower this week, which is too much and will “destroy” their natural body oils.
