Jennifer Aniston says baby news at Friends reunion "never happened"

A representative has responded to the speculation on Jennifer's behalf.

Contrary to reports that circulated yesterday, Jennifer Anniston has denied the rumours that she is adopting a baby girl.

Previously, a source close to the Friends actress alleged that Jennifer was in the process of adopting a child from Mexico. They maintained that she would break the news during the much-anticipated Friends reunion.

“Jen felt the reunion was the perfect time to make her baby announcement to the whole gang," a source told Closer. "While the girls already knew – as they see each other regularly – she thought it would be special to tell the boys when they were all together, as she rarely sees them these days due to their busy lives and work commitments."

They continued: “Spending almost every waking hour together for a decade, they lived through every detail of each other’s lives and supported each other through all their hard times including Courteney’s fertility struggles and Jen’s painful divorce from Brad Pitt."

However, this appears to be untrue.

A representative on Aniston's behalf responded to the speculation via the Daily Mail.

They said: "This story is a fabrication and never happened."

Throughout her career, baby rumours and speculation have surrounded the Friends star. Most recently, in 2020, she told Sandra Bullock that she was "open" to becoming a mother at some point.

"It’s not so much what I see myself doing, but it’s more like a little screenshot in my brain," Aniston said during an interview.

"I hear the ocean, I see the ocean, I hear laughter, I see kids running, I hear ice in a glass, I smell food being cooked. That’s the joyous snapshot in my head."

The Friends reunion was filmed in LA earlier this month. The two hour special is set to air on HBO Max later this year.
