Sandra Bullock & Channing Tatum first met in principal’s office of their daughters’ preschool

You’d pay to be a fly on the wall of that office, in fairness.

Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum have revealed their first interaction actually took place a few years ago in the principal’s office of the preschool that both of their daughters attended.

During an appearance on the Late Late Show with James Corden, the Lost City co-stars shared that they were called to the school back then due to tension and fighting between Sandra’s daughter Laila, now 10, and Channing’s daughter Everly, now 8.

“We have two very, very strong-willed little girls that, you know, at that young age were very much butting heads,” Channing explained.

Sandra added that the parents would get calls from the school and she would always hope to hear it wasn’t her child who had started the fight.

“I would be like, ‘Of all the people… of all the people to fight with their daughter!'” the ‘Magic Mike’ star continued.

“So you got called into the principal’s office together?” James asked, to which Sandra said “yes” and explained that the principal wanted to see how they could all come to a resolution together.

After one particular “altercation” between their little girls, Sandra said she wondered if she should call Channing and his then-wife, Everly’s mum Jenna Dewan. The principal instead set their daughters a “challenge” to see “who can be the nicest to the other one”, which the girls took very seriously in their competitiveness.

When James asked if the pair sat in the principal’s office “pretending not to be huge movie stars” the two laughed and admitted they did find it funny that they had seen each other in passing at awards shows.
