Because missing your fave show is a total ‘mare.
There’s been an extra load of TV watched as a result of the pandemic, but if there was one show that truly took over 2021, it was Mare of Easttown.
We were all glued as we watched Mare, the complex, messy, funny detective played by Kate Winslet, navigate her personal and professional life.
As she went on the hunt for a killer and kidnapper, she was haunted by memories of her late son who died by suicide as she underwent desperate measures to retain custody of his son.
The show’s likeable characters and compelling storyline had us all longing for a second season, which Kate herself said she’d love.
Though it’s said to be subject to discussion, it’s still unclear whether we’ll definitely get one.
