Did you spot this? Bridgerton’s Claudia Jessie also starred in Line Of Duty

That’s where we knew her from!

Was it wrecking anyone else’s head how familiar Eloise Bridgerton looked?

Forgive the lack of explanation before our opening sentence, but we’ve deduced that if you’ve clicked in to this story then you’re well aware of the global sensation that is Bridgerton and you’re probably one of the 63 million households (!) that have viewed the show since the release of the first season on Netflix.

Well, we’ve become become quite the Bridgerton sleuths of late and it seems spotting where our favourite 19th century characters have popped up on screen before is bringing us a certain amount of joy as we await news of a second season.

Don’t get it twisted, we’re usually on the hunt for Harry Potter crossovers but today we’re bringing you a spot from the British crime drama we all know and love, Line Of Duty.

It turns out Claudia Jessie, who plays the second eldest (and somewhat reluctant) Bridgerton sister, had a starring turn as DC Jodie Taylor in season four of the popular drama series.

The 31-year-old starred alongside Thandie Newton, who portrayed her boss DCI Roz Huntley in a six episode arc. We don’t want to give too much away but it’s fair to say that DC Taylor was polarising.

The character certainly divided opinion among Line Of Duty fans as she bended certain procedural rules in order to please the boss.

We know what fans can be like:

Getting back to what really matters and that is the character of Eloise Bridgerton, the final thing we’ll say on this is that we whole-heartedly agree with the following opinion:

“Perhaps you should like to paint a picture.”

Never change Eloise.
