It seems Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker spent the festive period in Ireland, though she kept mum about her time here.
On Instagram, Sarah posted a photo of a vibrant rainbow over the Irish countryside. Her caption was a love letter to Ireland.
It read: “Thank you Ireland. It was a happy. Always hard to leave. But you sent us off nice. X,SJ.”
Sarah Jessica Parker makes no secret of her fondness for the Emerald Isle – this isn’t even her first time in Ireland this year. During summer, she ventured to her holiday home in Donegal with her husband Matthew Broderick.
She also visited Dublin and popped in for a bite to eat at Soup 2 in Smithfield, where she noticed that the owner, Conor Hughes was super busy. This led the actress herself to roll up her sleeves and lend a hand with some cooking and cleaning.

Speaking to Hello Magazine about the star’s turn as a member of the hospitality staff, Hughes said: “Sarah was one of the nicest customers I’ve had in a while.
“She noticed we were super busy, asked if I was short-staffed and jokingly offered to help in the kitchen, as I was cooking and running food!
“She seemed to know a lot about our business and clearly had done her due diligence.”
Sarah also demonstrated her fondness for Irish culture by backing GAA in Donegal. This year, Sarah and Matthew were spotted cheering from the sidelines at a GAA tournament in Donegal. The couple had sponsored the event in a move honouring Matthew’s parents, who were fans of the support. At the end of the match, they handed out medals and trophies with their children.
