New music is on the way!

Huge news for Westlife fans this morning, as the band confirm a brand new album, as well an extra date in Wembley Stadium later this year.

After the 21 August gig sold out, the band delighted fans with news of an additional date on 22 August.

Westlife also revealed that fans will be able to pre-order the group’s 12th studio album next Tuesday 23 March.

Additionally, those who pre-order will be granted early access to tickets for the second Wembley gig.

Westlife front-man Nicky Byrne took to Instagram last night to share the news with his followers.

“Thanks to you guys, we’re absolutely over the moon to announce that we have been asked to play another show at Wembley Stadium this summer!” he said. “We’re also so excited to share with you that new music will be coming later this year.”

Nicky also dropped all the deets fans need to be aware of to nab those precious tickets: “Pre-order our forthcoming album from our official store by 23rd March at 10am GMT to gain early access to tickets for our second night at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 22 August 2021.”

On St. Patrick’s Day, Westlife hinted that new music was on the way after signing a record deal with Warner Music.

“We’ve got some big news for you today!” read the band’s official Twitter account.

In February, fans were worried after Westlife announced they had parted ways with EMI Records “by mutual consnet”.

All was not lost however, as the band were pleased to share news of their latest record deal.

On Twitter they said: “We have found a record label that share the same energy and high ambitions as the four of us, in what will be a very busy year, where there will be some surprise announcements and of course new music!”

Indeed, with new music and live gigs on the horizon, the future is looking very bright for this classic boyband.
