Aldi makes going for short walks with the kids easier with their Buggyboard Mini

It will be part of their April Baby Event.

Last week the government announced restrictive rules on how and when we can leave the house in a bid to prevent further spread of COVID-19.

However, it doesn't mean that you can't still go for a short walk with the kids and I know for a lot of families it's an essential part of their day.

Many families, especially in highly populated parts of the country live in apartments or flats with little to no outdoor space, making a little walk everyday necessary for mental and physical well being.

To help assist you with getting a bit of fresh air with the kids, Aldi is bringing back their popular Baby Event which features the nifty Buggyboard Mini.

Buggyboards are so handy, especially if you're the parent to a baby and a toddler or pre-school aged child.

The practical and safe alternative to a double pushchair provides a platform for an older sibling to stand on when their legs get tired.

Easy to use it even hooks out of the way when not needed and fits 99 per cent of pushchairs, prams and strollers.

The Buggyboard Mini also has a large anti-slip surface, side protection and built-in suspension.

The range will also include lots of other baby and toddler essentials including a pram parasol to keep your baby shaded in a safe way.

The popular Baby Change Backpack is also returning, because even if you're walking less than 2km, you still need to be prepared for nappy changes or a hungry baby.

€19.99 Baby Change Backpack

The Baby Event will feature a wide range of products including car seats, high chairs, portable potties, safety gates and much more.

The Aldi Baby & Toddler Event takes place in 142 stores nationwide on Monday, April 13.
