#entertainingathome: Pokemon origami that you can print out and create

Melissa Carton

This looks like a lot of fun.

Both of my kids are huge fans of Pokémon, which I will admit I encourage because I’ve been a massive fan of everything Pokémon since the 1990s.

One of the after school clubs that my son was in before the mandatory school closures was a Pokémon card club where he could meet his friends and trade cards.

Unfortunately, he can’t take part in clubs like that at the moment but that’s no reason that he, along with the rest of the family can’t get a fun and creative Pokémon fix in other ways.

The Pokémon Refuge recently uploaded lots of origami print outs to their Facebook page that families can print off and create at home.

There are several different characters to choose from, as well as instructions on how to create your origami Pokémon.

No one in my household has ever done origami before so I have a feeling it’s going to be a bit of trial and error, but like most of the country we’ve got lots of time on our hands to practice.

I really glad I came across this today because I’ll be honest, I was starting to run low on ideas on how to keep the kids entertained.

But as always it’s Pokémon to the rescue.

Just in case you were wondering, yes there is a Pikachu print out.

Couldn’t have Pokémon origami without Pikachu!

Pikachu is my daughter’s favourite (she even has a build-a-bear version of him that she carries around everywhere) so we’ll have to get printing him out later today.

There are currently seven different Pokémon to choose from on The Pokémon Refuge page but I’d keep an eye out incase they add more as them seem to be proving very popular with their followers.
