Free Comic Book Day is back and it looks better than ever!
The annual worldwide event comes back this Saturday and if you have any comic book fans at home you’re not going to want to miss it.
Every year thousands flock to comic book stores across the country for free comics and lots of other treats and this year will be no different.
I’ve been attending Free Comic Book Day with my kids for the last three years and they absolutely love it.
There’s always lots of face painting, actors in superhero costume, balloons, badges and of course, lots of comics.
My son loves to dress up for it so last year he went as Iron Man and I put together a little Eleven from Stranger Things costume for his sister.

Events will be taking place in comic book shops across Ireland, and the globe, this weekend so keep an eye out for what’s going on in your town.
Free Comic Book Day falls on the first Saturday in May every year and this year’s celebrations will take place this Saturday, May 4, which is also May the fourth be with you day, so you can two nerdy fun days in one!
