GIANT pumpkins are coming to Dublin and this is where you can see them

Melissa Carton

So just how giant are we talking exactly?

It seems like the Great Pumpkin from Charlie Brown really is real as a 400kg pumpkin will soon be arriving in Dublin!

It won’t be on it’s own either as there will be giant pumpkins in three different locations across the capital meaning that everyone can get a chance to see these autumnal behemoths.

The giant pumpkin invasion will be taking place at Fallon & Byrne stores across the capital as they play host to not one, not two but THREE pumpkin patches, one at each of their Dublin locations.

You can see the giant pumpkin patches at Fallon & Byrne on Exchequer Street, Dublin 2, People’s Park, Dun Laoghaire, Swan Centre, Rathmines.

If giant pumpkins weren’t enough could also win a €100 Fallon & Byrne gift card by sharing your photos of their pumpkin patches.

All grown by Patrick Sullivan in Collon, Co. Meath, the pièce de résistance can be found on the terrace outside Fallon & Byrne in the People’s Park, Dun Laoghaire. This whopper of a pumpkin weighs in at 892lbs (405kg) and is the biggest pumpkin grown in Ireland this year.

This really takes pumpkin patch visits to the next level and I will definitely be popping in with the kids this weekend to snap a picture of us with these amazing giant pumpkins.
