Helix Panto ‘The Three Musketeers’ announce special Sensory Friendly show

Melissa Carton

Fantastic!

Brilliant news for parents as the Helix Panto show The Three Musketeers have just announced that there will be a specially adapted sensory friendly performance.

The specially adapted performance will include softer on stage lighting and compressed sound, with no sudden noises or bangs and will take place next week December 18.

Produced by ThreatreworX Productions, The Helix was the first theatre in Ireland to stage a panto performance incorporating the different sensory needs so that children can have an enjoyable experience with their family.

Next week’s show will make sure the lighting in the auditorium will remain on ensuring the audience feel entirely comfortable throughout the performance. No flashing merchandise will be available at The Helix for this particular sensory performance.

In addition to these changes, assistant dogs are welcome in the theatre and a particular allowance is made for those who may need to move around more or who may react in different ways to the performance.

TheatreworX Productions return to The Helix this Christmas with all the wit, magic and fun celebrating their 12th anniversary show with the first ever professional production of The Three Musketeers.

Creating a new fresh script with plenty of twists, turns and adventure, be prepared for lots of laughs, eye catching sets, song and dance and of course comedy genius for all the family to enjoy.

The Three Musketeers will begin an eight week run from now until January 19. Tickets, priced from €17.50 are on sale now from www.thehelix.ie and at The Helix Box Office.
