As every parent knows, the summer holidays can be an expensive time.
Schools are out, the kids are at a loose end and parents are tasked with keeping them entertained!
With that in mind, Jervis Shopping Centre, Dublin’s favourite family shopping centre, is hosting the ultimate summer of fun with events every Saturday in July and August and the best part is, they’re free!
Each Saturday from 1-5pm, the family can enjoy a different themed event while enjoying the walk-about characters throughout the centre, balloon modelling and a host of different exciting elements each week.
Events include:
Sat 6th July – The Big Summer Launch
It’s Carnival time in Dublin City so enjoy the music and dancing on offer in the centre. Enjoy virtual reality bowling and take a chance on the spin and win for some fantastic prizes.
Sat 13th July – Zumba workshop
Let the little ones try their hand at a Zumba Dance Workout with the Elite DC Crew and keep an eye out for the giant Teddy Bear!
Sat 20th July – Witches and Wizards Show
If you are a Harry Potter fan, be sure to make your way down to the Upper First Floor (a.k.a Platform 9 ¾) in Jervis on the 20th July! Your mini muggles can enjoy Snape’s Mystical Magic Show, spot the look-alike characters, sit down for a fun caricature and get magical tattoos! Don’t leave without getting a photo at the famous Platform 9 ¾ trolley!
Sat 27th July – Jack Wise Magic Show
Laugh till you cry and marvel at the skill and excitement of Jack Wise’s unique magic show! With mesmerizing card tricks and amazing mind games, the kids will leave Jervis Shopping Centre dazzled!
