Kids go free to EPIC Museum and The Jeanie Johnston all of August

Melissa Carton

A great day out with the family.

To celebrate the last month before kids go back to school, EPIC Museum are offering free entry to children under 16 throughout the month of August.

This also includes free entry to the historical Jeanie Johnston famine ship.

EPIC is a fun and interactive experience for kids, adults and grandparents alike.

Whether children are exploring the 200 year old vaults, swiping through the interactive quizzes, dancing to Riverdance or listening to the whispering library, they’ll be entertained and educated throughout.

Located less than a 5 minute walk from EPIC, you’ll find The Jeanie Johnston Famine Ship where a 50 minute tour shares the stories of thousands of Irish people who fled the Famine and embarked on a voyage in the hope of a better life in North America.

Step on board and you will be transported back in time to join them on their amazing journey.

A wide range of public health and physical distancing measures have been put in place to ensure the safety of visitors.

Reduced visitor numbers, designated time slots, touch-free screens, increased cleaning, downloadable audio guides and cashless payments are just some of the measures put in place to protect the health of all visitors.

This August, unlock your family’s imagination and fuel their curiosity with a FREE trip for the kids to these two great attractions in the heart of Dublin’s Docklands.

With world-class visitor attractions, plenty of wide-open space and an excellent selection of bars and restaurants, Dublin’s Docklands is the place to be this summer.
