Pony rides, bouncy castles and face painting… your family weekend is sorted

Olivia Hayes

If you’re looking for a bit of fun for all the family, then this is for you.

The Stena Line Dublin Horse Show 2018 is coming soon, and it has some brilliant activities for kids of all ages.

The ever-popular Keeling’s Kids Zone is back from 11am-4.30pm Thursday 9 August to Sunday 12 August, and is sure to keep children entertained with an inflatable slide, bouncing castle and an activity zone, as well as face painting and pony rides.

There is also special meet and greets, where you and the kids can meet an array of interesting characters from Dancing Fish to Fiddling Foxes and Friendly Celtic Giants. They will be wandering the walkways for the duration of the show so we’re sure the whole family will find the characters entertaining!

For something really special – and something the older kids might enjoy – you can witness Frédéric Pignon’s inspiring equestrian show that combines flawless equine expertise, with elaborate showmanship and charisma.

Frédéric, along with his wife, Magali Delgado, will showcase their Dancing Horses skills twice daily at this year’s show.

This year’s Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ of Ireland at the Stena Line Dublin Horse Show takes place in the RDS from August 8 – 12. You can visit here for more information.
