When I was a first-time mum, I went to pretty much every parenting event I could find.
As an expectant parent I had so many questions that I just couldn’t find the answers to in a baby book.
Being able to hear from other parents firsthand was so helpful and I would definitely recommend attending soon-to-be parents to attend a baby event, if possible.

The NUK Big Baby Event is set to be held at McCauley Health and Beauty Pharmacy in Douglas Shopping Centre next Tuesday, March 3.
Cork mum of two, Lisa Jordan, will host a live discussion with experienced pharmacist Emily Kelly and Maura Cronin, NUK’s baby expert, covering all you need to know about baby’s healthcare with helpful tips and an audience Q&A session.
“I’m really looking forward to meeting other parents and getting answers to the questions that we all want to know – how often should I sterilise my soothers?; When can I go to the pharmacist instead of the doctor? Are the sniffles really good for baby’s immunity?; Am I doing anything right?! It will be great to chat all things baby, get some solid advice and have a bit of fun!”
The event takes place between 10:30 and 12:30 and with children also welcome at this family friendly event.
Tickets are €15 and include access to the event, a luxury goodie bag, tea/coffee and a €10 voucher redeemable on NUK products. You can’t ask for better than that can you?
