If you have small children who watch TV you might be familiar with Bedtime Stories on CBeebies.
It sees well-known faces read stories to help little ones wind down at the end of the day and honestly, isn’t unlike the scene in Friends where Joey does a dramatic reading of a one of little Emma’s books.
The segment has proven popular with kids and adults alike, not least because of the big names the BBC has managed to get for it in the past like Eddie Redmayne and Dolly Parton.
The latest star to soothe children to sleep? Orlando Bloom.
Orlando made an appearance with his gorgeous dog Mighty to read children’s book ‘We Are Together’ by Britta Teckentrup on Friday evening.
“There’s nothing better than snuggling up with some special friends or family to help you feel cosy, safe, and happy – especially before you go to sleep,” Orlando told viewers as he settled in.
“Tonight’s bedtime story is about the importance and magic of having loving people in your life.”

The actor, who is dad to seven-year-old son Flynn with ex-wive Miranda Kerr, has previously spoken about the power of stories.
“Children light up when being taken on imaginary adventures through storytelling, and it helps their creativity grow,” he said.
