PartyWizz launch free boredom combatting video series for families

Melissa Carton

So handy.

We’ve been stuck at how for a couple of weeks now and for many of us the cabin fever is getting very real.

I’ve been trying to think up as many activities as possible to do with my kids, but I’m starting to run short on ideas.

If you’re in the same boat as me then you’ll be happy to hear that PartyWizz, an online entertainment booking platform for party entertainers, have just launched a series of videos filled with fun activities for all the family.

Last week PartyWizz launched the ‘An Antidote to Boredom’ video series for children and families.

The series includes free daily videos featuring a range of professional performers from magicians to DJs, with at-home activities to keep children of all ages entertained and active.

Each video will include a creative activity for children to learn or do, including:
• Dance and physical activity routines
• Fun and educational games
• Magic tricks
• Origami making

And much, much more.

All of the PartyWizz activities are designed so that they can be done with simple items from around the house, and to combat ‘cabin fever’ as people around the country spend more time in their homes as a result of social distancing measures in response to the current Covid-19 pandemic.

I have to say I’m really impressed by the amount of businesses adapting and helping both parents and children during the shutdown.

Now only are activities like these great for breaking up the day but I find that the more my family and I can keep active, the less that we are thinking about the pandemic and we become a lot less stressed and anxious.

New videos will be released each day at 3pm (a nice after school work treat) and can be found at the PartyWizz website.
