Book a visit to one of these pumpkin patches before they sell out

Time to find the perfect pumpkin for Halloween.

We know Autumn doesn’t officially start until September 22nd, but we must admit we’re a little excited about the new season.

Especially because Halloween is just around the corner.

If you’re obsessed with all things Fall like us then you just have to add a visit to a Pumpkin Patch to your list of autumnal activities.

Luckily, there are plenty of pumpkin patches in Ireland and we’ve gathered up some of our favourites.

A word of advice- book your place quickly because there are no doubt spots will be swiped up before you know it.

1. Ladyrath Pumpkin Patch, Wilkinstown, Co. Meath

The perfect place to spend an afternoon with the family. The kids can pick out and even carve their very own pumpkins at Ladyrath Pumpkin Patch.

2. Clonfert Pet Farm, Maynooth, Co. Kildare

Why not head to Kildare for a day of autumnal fun? Clonfert Pet Farm has quickly become one of the most popular places for a family outing so be quick to get tickets.

3. Tinahely Farm, Coolruss, Co. Wicklow

Grab a hot chocolate or a frothy cappuccino and help the little ones pick out the perfect pumpkin for Halloween. This Co. Wicklow spot is one of our favourite locations for an autumnal day out. The play barn is always a huge hit with the kids.

4. Luggwoods, Crooksling, Co. Dublin

Set in the foothills of the Dublin Mountains, this safe and family-friendly spot is one you must visit this year.

Get ready for the Hooky Spooky Halloween experience at Luggwoods. The Dublin location is the place to be this October. Get into the festive spirit and carve your pumpkin at the Luggwoods pumpkin patch.

5. Rathwood, Tullow, Co. Carlow

This spot has received heaps of praise from parents. Enjoy the ultimate Halloween experience at Rathwood this October. Families can look forward to a trip on the Halloween train, a visit to the pumpkin patch where they’ll pick and carve their own pumpkin, and even a tasty cup of hot chocolate.

6. Byrne’s Pumpkins, Annagassan, Co. Louth

This is one of Ireland’s newest pumpkin patches and one you just need to visit.

Why not head to Byrne’s Pumpkins in Louth before Halloween arrives at the end of the month.

This family-run pumpkin patch was born out of a love for growing pumpkins so you’re in good hands.
