Looks like the royal family are showing more of Prince Louis than we thought

Over the weekend, Prince Louis’s christening photos were released.

There were group photos, smaller group photos, photos of Kate and Louis alone, and of course, the extremely adorable candid one of the Duchess and her youngest son.

That’s it there.

It’s adorable.

As it turns out though, apparently Kate and Will were going to keep that specific photo for themselves and not release it to the public at all.

But then, they had a change of heart and decided to let everyone see even more of Louis than they’d previously said they would.

Fair enough.

According to People magazine, the Duke and Duchess were originally going to keep the photo for their private use.

A source told the publication: “This gem of a photo was originally intended for the royal family’s private use only.”

But then they changed their minds. Unreal.

The statement that accompanied the photos read: “Their Royal Highnesses hope that everyone enjoys this lovely photograph of Prince Louis as much as they do.”

Bless.

Similarly, the prince’s christening itself was also supposed to be a private enough affair but judging from the amount of photos the family decided to release, they’re certainly more willing to share Prince Louis with the world than they were a few months ago.
