Marissa Carter shares top things to do with at Disney World with small kids

Marissa Carter has shared her list of the best things to do with smaller children in Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Florida.

The businesswoman and her family are currently spending some at the popular theme parks in the Sunshine State.

She took to social media on Wednesday to share her top ten things to do with “smallies” for anyone thinking of making the trip to Florida.

She suggested:

“1) The Muppets Presents Great Moments in American History – Magic Kingdom.

“2) It’s Tough to Be a Bug – Animal Kingdom

“3) Finding Nemo The Musical – Animal Kingdom.

“4) Maharajah Jungle Trek – Animal Kingdom.

“5) Dinner at Hollywood & Vine – Disney Hollywood Studios. This is a great way for the kids to meet Minnie, Mickey, Donald, Daisy & Goofy without having to queue! The characters come to your table.

“6) Disney Junior Live on Stage – Disney Hollywood Studios.

“7) A Day in the Park with Barney – Universal Studios. Singing & dancing with characters.

“8)Visit Diagon Alley – Howgwarts Express – Hogsmeade – Hogwarts – Universal Studios – this was paradise for Charlie and I. UNREAL!!! We even bumped into Dumbledore!

“9) Kids will love Shrek, Minions, Curious George, Scooby Doo and the Grinch attractions spread out through Universal.

“10) Frozen Sinaglong Celebration – Disney Hollywood Studios. Kids loved this.”

She also offered some more helpful tips and tricks for any parents thinking of bringing their little ones to the theme parks.

She advised:

“Plan your trips to the parks using the Disney app and if your tickets give you fast pass + then make sure you book the shows in advance online.

“We haven’t experienced any lengthy queues because the kids are too young for the rides but the parks are really busy.”

Adding that the weather is changeable and to “pack for all seasons”, she continued:

“Do not forget your buggy (stroller) – the rental rate is $15 per day per child. Pack raincoats.

“And book restaurants for lunch/dinner on the app as most are too busy for walk-ins.”
