This is when Meghan Markle will start curtsying to Kate Middleton

Rebecca O'Keeffe

Interesting!

The gorgeous Meghan Markle has taken to royal life like a duck to water.

She has had a few slip ups of course, but who wouldn’t in fairness?

One particular royal tradition that Meghan has nailed is the ability to curtsy.

We witnessed Meghan’s first attempt at curtsying on Christmas day, when she bent the knee to The Queen.

Herself and Kate Middleton both did a lovely curtsy, while Harry and William bowed to their granny.

It got me wondering though, when will Meghan and Harry have to bow to Kate?

The answer is when she becomes Queen!

Basically once William ascends to the throne as King, Kate will become Queen Consort – and the bowing and curtsying will commence.

In fact, even Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis will have to eventually bow to their own parents.

How funny is that?

Before that though, Charles will become King, with the lovely Camilla by his side as Queen Consort.

So the whole family, Meghan Markle included, will have to bow and curtsy to Charles and Camilla.

They don’t have to bow to Prince Philip though, as he does not have the title of King.

This is because the title of King out ranks the title of Queen, and nobody can out rank Queen Elizabeth.

Usually a Queen’s husband will be given a very high title, but never King Consort.

Now, if you need me, I’ll be practicing my curtsy.
