Michael Douglas is now a proud first-time grandfather.

The actor shared a snap of baby Lua Izzy on Facebook on Thursday – just three days after she was born.

And suffice to say that the little one is absolutely gorgeous and so beautiful.

The newborn arrived safely to Viviane Thibes – the Brazilian partner of Michael’s eldest child, Cameron Douglas, 39.

“Congratulations to my son, Cameron, and lovely Viviane on the birth of their daughter Lua!” the 73-year-old Oscar-winner said sharing the photo to Facebook.

Viviane had announced her pregnancy in early September with an Instagram snap showing her and her partner embracing.

“I am about to become a mother,” she said in the caption. “With each day that it goes by I feel you closer to me, my beautiful child. So looking forward to meeting you and experiencing the blessings of motherhood.”

The child’s full name – Lua Izzy – is a nod to the newborn’s 101-year-old Hollywood legend great-grandfather, Kirk: he was born Issur Danielovitch, and later went by the nickname Izzy.

Earlier this week, Cameron on social media to state that after Lua’s birth his “appreciation” for mothers all over the world “reached new heights”.

“Today I took part in a miracle as my baby girl was introduced to the world through a beautiful Amazon warrior… I’m so proud of you,” he added.

The younger Douglas has had a troubled past: he’s been arrested on several occasions for drugs offenses. Before being released to a halfway house in August 2016, he spent seven years in jail – two of which were in solitary confinement.

Cameron’s mum is Diandra Luker (Michael’s first wife) and he also has two half-siblings in Dylan, 17, and  Carys, 14 – whose mother is Catherine Zeta Jones.

“Dylan and Carys love being an aunt and uncle and we’re so happy,” Michael had told PEOPLE on Tuesday.

In the past, the actor has said he was a “bad father” to Cameron, but also that prison intervention was for the best. Cameron “was going to be dead or somebody was gonna kill him. I think he has a chance to start a new life, and he knows that,” he said back in 2010.
