No lunchboxes! This is what Prince George will be eating in primary school

The mini royal starts primary school this week

Prince George is getting ready for a massive milestone this week as he begins primary school this week.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are sending the four year old to Thomas’s Battersea – and his primary school experience will definitely be different than ours.

The Prince is joining one of three reception classes at the private, co-educational day school in south west London.

He will be wearing his new uniform as he gets ready for the milestone this week: a navy v-neck pullover, Bermuda style shorts, long red socks and black shoes.

And it looks like Prince George will be skipping the lunch boxes when he starts at the prestigious school.

Thomas’s menu includes plenty of organic fruit, vegetables, eggs and meat dishes for the mini-royal to enjoy.

Examples on the menu include things like pork stroganoff with red pepper strips and oven baked meatballs with cannelloni beans in a tomato and basil sauce.

He can also look forward to lamb ragout with garlic and fresh herbs and free range smoked BBQ chicken fajitas.

And as for dessert, the mini-royal will be enjoying things like fresh baked waffles with a fruit coulis and a steamed jam and coconut sponge with custard.
