The Baby Bay Market returns to Clayton Hotel Cork for February and we can’t wait

Melissa Carton

New year means out with the old and in with the new.

With Christmas been and gone and the new year starting off most of us are sorting through our belongings and clearing out what we don’t need anymore.

Particularly after Christmas day and the mountain of presents that my children received I’m hoping to half the amount of toys that they each have in their rooms.

Whether you’ve passed that stage where you need a pram and a cot and are looking to pass them on to a new parent or new to pick up these items for yourself, you don’t need to look any further than the Baby Bay Market.

The popular market, which held dozens of events last year, will be returning with their popular market this month.

Taking place at the Clayton Hotel Silver Springs, Cork, February 9 the Baby Bay Market is the perfect place to buy, sell and recycle all the baby items you no longer need.

If you’re looking to book a stall you can for just €25, but if you just want to pop along and browse admission on the day is €3 per adult and kids go FREE!

I know myself from buying for two kids that it can be pricey to kit out your home for all your baby and toddler’s needs and I was always so grateful for mum groups and markets like these where I could buy things second hand.

The February market will be held on Sunday, February 9, from 12 to 2 pm and you’re bound to find a bargain or two.

Don’t worry if you can’t make this one there will be many more opportunities as the market runs every month (sometimes even twice a month).

For more information on their next events or how to book a stall, you can keep an eye on their social media pages or visit their website.
