Prince George had his first day of ‘big school’ today and this is clearly a snap for the family album.
The four-year-old started at Thomas’ Battersea in South London this morning and was accompanied by his dad, Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge.
His mother, Duchess Kate, was unable to attend the milestone event due to the severe morning sickness she is suffering as a result of her third pregnancy.
In addition to educational success, the school places great emphasis on ‘a set of core values’ such as “kindness, courtesy, confidence, humility, and learning to be givers, not takers” and George’s parents are said to be delighted with their choice of school.

Fees for the prestigious facility start from £17,604 (around €20,000) per year and it’s thought that the class size averages at just 20 pupils.
On Monday, Kensington Palace announced that the Duke and Duchess were expecting their third child and there has been great excitement since.
