Dig in!

Who’s hungry?

It can often seem like an incredibly difficult task to pace the streets of Dublin moving from menu to menu trying to find somewhere to eat with the kids.

All moms know, the struggle is too real at times and therefore to make life a little easier, we have compiled a list of 10 places with a wide selection of kiddie options to suit the tastes of all children (yes – even the finicky eaters).

Making Saturdays in the city less of a burden and slightly more of a walk in the park – here are 10 great city centre spots to choose from.

Milano’s

From pizza, pasta to tasty breads with garlic and cheese – this place is perfect for kiddies. Plus the choice of colouring cards and crayons keep them busy up until mealtime. Success.

Ann’s Bakery

From freshly made sandwiches to soups and sweet treats, there is something in Ann’s for even the fussiest eaters.

Farm

From steaks to salmon, goujons to fresh penne pasta. Farm on Dawson St has an extensive menu made just for juniors – making it a firm favourite amongst both parents and children. Win win.

The Market Bar

Beautiful tapas for adults and a lovely welcoming atmosphere and menu for children. This place is a firm favourite amongst families and located on Fade St, the location is also IDEAL.

Toscana

If it’s a delish Italian you are looking for than Toscana is where you need to go. With a choice of spaghetti bolognese, pizza or chicken strips with a drink and ice-cream for €10 7 days a week, this place is a must.

Yamamori Noodles

Located on South George’s St, Yamamori noodles can whip up noodle dishes and sushi for the kids that are feeling a little bit more adventurous.

TGI Fridays

Located in St. Stephen’s Green, TGI’s has an extensive menu for kids ranging from burgers to hot dogs and makes for a good weekend treat.

Neon17

Located on Camden St, Neon17 is another fab spot for adults and kiddies alike with a range of noddles, curries and rice for the little ones all under €7 – it’s a must.

National Gallery of Ireland

A firm favourite amongst all us mommas, the Gallery cafe is a beautiful space for a nice light lunch or a sweet treat. It is located in the Millennium Wing, at the Clare Street entrance.

Jamie’s Italian

An honorary mention to this spot. It may not fit the “city centre” location, but Jamie’s Italian in Dundrum is a must visit with the young ones – a fantastic atmosphere, great kids food and lovely special “grown-up” drinks. It is definitely our fave.

Happy dining!
