The thing is – we all know breakfast is the most important meal of the day. However, trying to be creative in the morning, when you are also navigating the packing of lunchboxes and the brushing of hair and finding of socks/schoolbooks/car keys is pretty much impossible, I think we can all agree.
The good news? Here are three super-delicious – and healthy – breakfast recipes that are neither time-consuming nor complicated. Get ready to feel excited about breakfast again!
1. Lemon, Poppyseed And Blueberry Overnight Oats
Ingredients
Serves 2
100g Flahavan’s Organic Jumbo Oats
150ml Flahavan’s Oat Drink (or milk of choice)
2 tablespoons of Good4U Immune Boost Milled Seed Breakfast Boost
80g plain Greek yoghurt
2 teaspoons of honey
Zest of 1 lemon
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
75g blueberries
1 tablespoon of chia seeds
2 teaspoons of poppy seeds
Topping
Lemon curd

Method
1.Combine all the ingredients in a re-sealable jar or container, mix well and refrigerate overnight.

2. Mixed Berry And Oats Breakfast Bowl
Serves 1
Ingredients
150g frozen mixed berries
1 sliced banana, frozen
100-120ml of Flahavan’s Oat Drink (or milk of choice)
1 teaspoon of honey (optional)
45g tablespoons of Flahavan’s Organic Porridge Oats
1 tablespoons of Good4U Vitamin Milled Seed Breakfast Boost

Cacao nibs
Directions
1.Put all the ingredients into a high-speed blender and whizz until smooth.
2.Add a little more milk if needed.
3.Serve immediately in a breakfast bowl and top with fresh berries, cacao nibs and more Good4U Vitamin Milled Seed Breakfast Boost
3. Chocolate Chilli Energy Balls
Makes 12-14
Ingredients
100g pitted dates
100g Flahavan’s Organic Porridge Oats
3 tablespoons of Good4U Protein Milled Seed Breakfast Boost
50g of 70% dark chocolate, chopped
½ level teaspoon of cayenne pepper
1-2 teaspoons of water (if needed)
Directions
1. Put all the dates into a food processor and pulse until they form a paste.
2. Add the remaining ingredients and blend until the mixture starts to clump together, scraping down the sides to redistribute the mixture once or twice.
3. Add a little water if the mixture is too crumbly.
4. Divide the mixture into 12 and roll into balls (approx. 25g each)and refrigerate for one hour. Store in an airtight/sealed container for up to a week, if they last that long!
