3 delicious and kid-friendly smoothies (with added sneaky veggies!)
If you're struggling as much as I am with getting your kids to eat as much and as many vegetables as you want them to, you will soon realize how far a little trickery will get you.
Like; I have now fully embraced lying to my kids – maybe not about everything, but certainly and absolutely about what they are eating or drinking actually consists of.
Which is why I am all about smoothies these days – as not only do most kids love them and they are so easy to make, they are also the perfect place to hide some sneaky veg.
Just try it and you'll see:
Beet (hah!) them at their own game with this one, mamas.
The taste of beets is completely hidden among the fresh (and more kid-friendly) taste of berries, and my own kids love this one so much.
Ingredients
1 cup plant milk of choice or water
1 frozen banana
