chocolate crunch doughnuts

Trying to get back on the nutritional straight and narrow ahead of summer and bikini season?

Yup, us too.

But we are still loving our treats, which is why we always on the hunt for something yum that is not too unhealthy.

And these super-crunchy, chocolatele-y “doughnuts” are our latest find – and we bet you are going to love them too.

3-Ingredient Chocolate Crunch Doughnuts

200 g Dark chocolate (I used a dairy free version)

1 cup quinoa pops (Rice Krispies will work too)

2 tbsp almond butter

Method

Break up the chocolate into a heatproof bowl, then add in the almond butter. You can either melt it in the microwave, stirring every minute or so, or you can place it on top of a small pan of simmering water until it has completely melted.
Add the crispies into the bowl and fold to combine.
Divide the mixture between 6 doughnut rings (you can use any other mould too, or make these into bars if you wish)
Place in the fridge for 1-2 hours or until the chocolate has set.
Enjoy!
Store in an air-tight container in the fridge. You can freeze any leftovers.
