3 things you haven’t made with Rice Krispies yet (but absolutely should try)

Trine Jensen-Burke

Rice Krispies

Because we don’t even want to look at another banana bread ever again.

Lockdown #3 (feels like more, no?) is upon us, and at this stage, I think it’s safe to say the novelty has well and truly worn off.

Meaning, I will not be attempting my own sourdough starter. I will not order more craft supplies. And I will not, under any circumstances, bake another banana bread.

However, as we all know, kids love baking, and now that we are stuck at home with them for the next God-knows-how-long, you might as well have a few fun baking projects up your sleeve. Like these Rice Krispie treats.

Have you ever venture outside the classic chocolate-on-top version? If you want to make your next baking-with-the-kids Rice Krispie project a little more special, we have done the legwork for you. Here are three cuter-than-cute version of this classic treat:

1. Funfetti Krispy Treat Bites

These are a yummy twist to traditional Rice Krispies Treats, and look the part!
