The 4-ingredient peanut butter cookie recipe perfect for weekend baking

Weekends were made for baking.

If you have kids – even more so.

But also – the idea of turning your kitchen upside down, flour everywhere, surfaces so sticky you don’t even want to deal with cleaning them up – we get why it often seems like a much better idea in theory than it is in practise.

However, mamas –this recipe will save your sanity –and keep your kids happy.

All you need is four little ingredients, and voila – mix together and you got yourself some seriously tasty cookies – that also happen to be gluten-free, by the way. Oh, and even better ? They are done in 15 minutes, meaning you can get the kitchen tidied up in no-time too.

4-ingredient peanut butter cookies

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup peanut butter
  2. 1 cup sugar
  3. 1 large egg
  4. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Stir together 1 cup peanut butter, 1 cup sugar, 1 large egg, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract in a large bowl until combined; shape dough into 1-inch balls.
  2. Place balls 1 inch apart on ungreased baking sheets, and flatten gently with tines of a fork.
  3. Bake at 160°C for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire racks to cool.
