In our opinion, few things can beat a long, lazy and rather boozy brunch. It was, until our kids came along and put a bit of an abrupt stopper for them, the highlight of our weekends.

Bacon-chocolate shot glasses have arrived. We know! Just when you think something sounds way to good to actually be true, it turns out it actually totally is. I mean; who doesn’t love crispy bacon, chocolate and booze, right? Even better: All three together in one glorious food-and-drink concoction you will never forget.
It was blogger Through The Eyes Of My Belly who alerted us to these little pots of perfection, and you can find a pretty fool-proof tutorial on her blog on how to create these perfectly cripsy choco-dipped bacon cases for your shots at home.
“They may be a little tedious to make, and I’m still perfecting the recipe, but they are totally worth it if you’re going to a party and want to bring something fabulous!” says the writer – who also recommends filling the little “shot glasses” with “a nice creamy booze,” once the chocolate has cooled, of course.
She recommends “Kahlua and a little milk. Or you could even fill them with wine, because who doesn’t like wine and chocolate?”
Mind. Blown.
