Beat the heat: 5 delicious (and healthy) ice pops you can make yourself

Trine Jensen-Burke

ice pops

Artificial colour and a ton of sugar?

No thanks – there has got to be better ways to cool down, no?

Don’t worry, there is.

Get in the kitchen and whip these ice pops up and stick in the freezer – and you are covered for whenever the kids are begging you for a frozen treat:

1. Vegan Blueberry Coconut Popsicles

All you have to do is throw three simple, feel-good ingredients (blueberries, coconut milk and maple syrup) into a blender, freeze in a  popsicle mold and voila; you got yourself one delicious treat.

2. Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Banana, Yogurt Pops

Healthy enough for breakfast and sweet enough for dessert.

3. Frozen Yoghurt Pops

Two ingredients are all you need to whip up these cold treats.

4. Honey & Peach Yoghurt Ice Lollies

All you need is creamy greek yoghurt, sweet roasted peaches and a generous drizzle of honey.

5. Fruit Juice Ice Pops

Easy, healthy and super-tasty.
