BREAKING: The Creme Egg pop-up café is back

Laura Holland

Cadbury Creme Egg has just announced a new pop up in Dublin.

It’s called The Cadbury Creme Egg Hunting Lodge and it will open its doors from Monday 27th February to Saturday 4th March for the annual meeting of the Crème Egg Hunting Society.

Sounds intriguing right?

The Society, hosted by President Edmund Grayson Glenmorris III (known to his fellow hunters as EGG), is inviting fellow Creme Egg fanatics to join him on his quest to hunt, catch and eat the tasty treats.

The gatherings will take place each day from 7.00pm to 8.30pm in Lock 6 on Canal Road, Dublin 6.

You’ll be treated to a three-course feast with some of the gooiest Creme Egg campfire classics, including indulgent Creme Egg S’mores and Creme Egg hot chocolate.

If you went to the Creme Egg Café last year then you’ll know you’re in for a treat this year.

Tickets are available to over 16s here and there will be very limited availability for walk-ins throughout the week. While entry is free to the lodge, guests will be able to make a donation to national mental health charity Aware, who is the charity partner of Mondeléz Ireland.

Speaking ahead the launch, Jonathan Ryan, Brand Manager at Mondelez Ireland said:

“We are delighted to be celebrating Creme Egg Hunting Season with the Hunting Lodge this year. We can’t wait for Creme Egg’s biggest fans to immerse themselves in a unique experience and taste their favourite treats in ways they may never have imagined before!”

For those not able to make it down, fear not, as Cadbury Creme Eggs are back on shelves and are available until Easter.
