Bear Market Coffee has a new location.

Today, the popular Dublin coffee chain opens up on George’s Street, Dublin 2. However, unlike other city centre coffee shops, Bear Market won’t be accepting cash for your drinks and instead, customers will have to pay via contactless, Apple Pay or using their loyalty app.

Explaining the reason for the change, the people behind the bean feel that with less time spent fumbling with money, the more time available for chatting to the customer.

“We are excited about the improved customer experience, service and efficiency we can offer by going completely cashless with this store,” they explained on Instagram.

The store which opens at midday today, April 8, will be open seven days a week with a late opening of 11am on a Sunday.
