This dad measures his son’s growth in a peculiar and hilarious way

Ah, god.

Sure why not?

How do you document your child’s growth?

Do you keep a height chart on the wall? Maybe you measure them every now and again and keep the difference logged in a baby book?

Or perhaps you compare your child to the length of a sandwich and keep tabs that way?

No? Well, this dad does.

Brad Williams is a man from Philadelphia.

He is also the dad to now two-year-old Lucas.

For all of his little life, Brad has been measuring Lucas’ growth by comparing him to the length of cheese steak sandwiches and taking photos of the progress.

It all started when Brad had a cheese steak when his son was only a newborn and realised that they were quite similar in size.

Then, according to Brad’s blog, the tradition continued.

And continued.

And continued.

You get the idea.

Lucas grows, cheese steak stays the same.

Brad also wrote that he stopped measuring his son by the month because Lucas wasn’t too fond of having a cheese steak sandwich propped up against him on the regular.

We cannot understand why not.
