Detox smoothie: Flush out those toxins with this recipe

The weekend of full-on banter, little sleep and late-nights are truly behind me. It is halfway through the week, and I’m still feeling bloated, cranky and in need of repair. I need a quick fix for body and mind. 

Join me and flush out the nasties from your body with this fruity concoction. By the time the weekend comes again, you’ll be ready to do it all over:

Ingredients

1 cored pear
1 cored apple
1 banana
1 cup of pineapple
Two handfuls of spinach
1 cup of filtered water or pineapple water

Optional: 1/2 kiwi

Directions

1. Blend the ingredients.
2. Done.
