Grafton Street has a new beer garden and we know where we’re going this summer

Melissa Carton

Counting down the days until this opens!

It feels like forever since we’ve sat in a beer garden enjoying the sun but we’re only a few days away from it now.

If you live in Dublin or are planning a trip up during the summer then this new beer garden on Grafton Street is definitely worth a look.

Award winning Porterhouse Brew Co. is the latest addition to Dublin’s Grafton Street, as it prepares to open the brand new Porterhouse Beer Garden located on Adam Court between 6-7 Grafton St, next Monday, June 7, with outdoor capacity for up to 60 people.

The venue will operate on a first come, first served walk-in basis, with tables for two, three, four and six available, and will offer a much-needed boost to Dublin’s outdoor social scene, operating in line with Covid restrictions.

The drinks menu will include all of Porterhouse’s favourite brews on tap, including Porterhouse Stout, Pint of Plain, Rambler and Renegade, as well as a full spirits, wine, and cocktail bar serving an amazing selection of cocktails using some of its own distilled spirits such as Dingle Gin and Dingle Vodka and the latest Dingle Single Malt.

Patrons will have the option to enjoy a tasty bite with their drinks, with a food menu featuring a selection of appetizing burgers, pizzas, nachos, wings and much more!

The Porterhouse Beer Garden has been created with sustainability in mind. With furniture and bar fittings fabricated from old pallets, kegs and other discarded materials from the Porterhouse Brewery and Dingle Distillery, the finished space is vibrant, functional and full of character.

From the sneak peek that we’ve seen it looks amazing and we can’t wait to visit!

The new Grafton Street Porterhouse Beer Garden will open from 2pm Monday to Friday and from 12.30pm Saturday and Sunday.
