Gwyneth Paltrow drank only goat milk for a week – here are the results

We’ve come to rely on Gwyneth Paltrow for our regular dose of nutritional nonsense…. and this week she has not let us down.

The Queen of Goop has been on a cleanse, but rather than sipping juice or fruity teas like a normal celebrity, Gwyneth’s been surviving solely on goat milk.

The actress drank raw goat milk for eight days in a bid to clear her body of parasites, apparently.

Naturopaths believe that parasites in the body are to blame for symptoms such as exhaustion, bad breath and teeth grinding. Drinking a curious blend of goat milk and anti-parasitic herbs is believed to send them on their merry way.

Medical doctors would disagree by the way, but anyway…

Revealing the results of her endeavour on the cover of Women’s Health (in fairness, you can’t say she doesn’t look phenomenal), the Oscar winner said she worries about parasites and heavy metals in her system:

“I’m really interested in the impact of heavy metals and parasites on our bodies.” she told the magazine.

“I think they’re two of the biggest culprits in terms of why we feel bad. I’m knee-deep in figuring out ways to clear them from the body, looking at all sorts of potentially weird modalities.”

We are totally up for trying this, provided we trade goats milk for goats cheese and crackers and eight days for an hour in front of the telly.
