If you haven’t added Nutella to your iced coffee yet, you are not living your best summer life

Nutella iced coffee

The ONLY bad thing about this drink is that we never thought to make it before.

Iced coffees are our summer tipple of choice, and if you think your obsession with this chilled, frothy drink was bad before, just wait until you have tried this Nutella version that is currently trending.

A friend of mine first tipped me off about adding Nutella to my iced coffee, and after a quick Pinterest search, I realised this was actually a thing – and lots of people had already discovered this genius DIY coffee hack.

The best bit? It could not be easier to make – and you probably have everything you need already.

Ingredients

Ice

100 ml milk (or plant milk)

1 tbsp espresso-style instant coffee

100 ml boiling water

1 heaped tbsp of Nutella

Instructions

Filla heat-safe glass with ice and pour over your milk of choice.

In another cup or glass, stir together the instant coffee and boiling water. Add the Nutella to this mixture and stir a couple of minutes until completely dissolved.

Pour the Nutella coffee mixture into the glass filled with milk and ice, and serve immediately.

TIP: For a frothier version, you can froth your milk with a hand-held whisk or in a milk frother before adding it to the glass of ice.
