Healthy snacks: 5 yummy treats for the kids’ lunchboxes this week

Trine Jensen-Burke

Forever trying to come up with clever ways to make your kids’ lunchboxes a little more healthy and nutritious?

You and me both.

The tricks I have found work better is to both keep changing things up – and also to persevere. Sometimes, it just takes a few goes to get them to actually try – and like something.

Often, it is when they are really hungry that my children are more inclined to try something new – which is why I have started adding more little healthy bits to their lunchboxes in the morning. I am always on the hunt for great new, healthy snack recipes to test out, and currently, these five have all proved a success:

1. Skinny Banana Bread Muffins

So flavorful and moist they’ll never even know they are health.
