How to cook crispy 2-minute bacon… in the microwave

If there is one foodstuff that can cure a hangover, satisfy a craving and vastly improve any other foodstuffs it is added to, it is bacon.

As only Irish people (and pregnant women) will understand, sometimes you need bacon right now, immediately.

That’s why we were more than a little excited to discover a way of cooking bacon to a satisfying crisp in minutes… and without the need to wash a frying pan afterwards.

Step 1: Turn a bowl upside down

Step 2: Place rashers on the bowl

Step 3: Place the bowl on a plate or some paper towels. Microwave on high setting for a minute or two (or until your bacon is at your desired crispiness). Add to BLT. Devour.
