We're going here after work!

Nothing beats a good bottle of vino.

From dinner with friends to movie nights curled up on the couch, a glass of wine is always welcome in our lives and finding the perfect one can be sometimes tricky.

But… if you’re a rosé lover, I’ve some crucial and fantastic news for you.

At this year’s International Wine Challenge, which recognises the best wine and greatest suppliers throughout the world, a supermarket which can be found in Ireland came out as the reigning champion for “Specialist Rose Merchant of the Year”. A prestigious title where hundreds of supermarkets and their stock was put to the test to see who supplied THEE best wine.

And the winner was, Marks & Spencer.

Supplying their stores with a variety of over 40 rosé wines, it turns out M&S has the best of the best in terms of value, quality, sustainability and flavour.

Speaking to Good Housekeeping, Dror Nativ, Wine Trading Manager at M&S said:

“The award is a testament to the hard work of our talented wine team, who will leave no stone (or vine) unturned to seek out the best wines for our customers. Rose wine is becoming increasingly popular – from great value, refreshing picnic pinks, to more serious special occasion wines, rose is really establishing itself, and I’m delighted we’ve been recognised as the specialists on the high street.”

At the same awards, Aldi also scooped a title, winning one of the most coveted awards for the overall supermarket of the year.

That’s that settled then, wine in M&S and groceries in Aldi, sorted.
