Too many grapes last night? We’ve got the best hangover cure

If the Bank Holiday weekend has you suffering and experiencing waves of ‘the fear’, don’t worry because we are here to help. This is the sweet solution you need.

This healthy green elixir will conquer dehydration and soothe away any troubling thoughts leftover from an over-enthusiastic weekend. Oh, and it tastes delicious too!

Ingredients:

Two handfuls of lettuce (preferably romaine)

One avocado

One cucumber

One cup of melon (cantaloupe if you can)

1/4 cup of cashew nuts

One mint leaf

One or two cups of coconut water (filtered water will also do fine)

Directions:

1. Chop up all the ingredients (this will help to release tension too)

2. Pop everything in to a blender

Optional extra:

Pop a kiwi into the mix and a slice of lime on the side of the glass – it will look and almost taste like a cocktail (which you may or may not want to think about if you’re hungover).
